Differences between Wales and Scotland. 1) Meals:   Wales Typical dishes: Cawl (a lamb or beef stew with vegetables), bara brith (a bread with nuts), Welsh rarebit (a toast with melted cheese and beer), faggots (minced meatballs wrapped in bacon). Common ingredients: Lamb, beef, cheese, root vegetables, seafood. Influences: English, Irish cuisine.
