Differences between Wales and Scotland. 1) Meals:   Wales Typical dishes: Cawl (a lamb or beef stew with vegetables), bara brith (a bread with nuts), Welsh rarebit (a toast with melted cheese and beer), faggots (minced meatballs wrapped in bacon).
